Change of Plans

So, the PLAN was to trade out Brad's Fatboy for a Sportster Nightster for just a few months. Then, at the first of the year we would trade it in for a "big bike" aka a Touring Bike, ElectraGlide, or GeezerGlide as Brad lovingly calls it.


Well, plans change - not 2 weeks after our big trade in, we got word that we overpaid our taxes. And I mean OVERPAID! Sometimes you gotta love those accounting errors that go in your favor. Anyway, it also happened that a certain used '03 100th Anniversary Edition ElectraGlide Ultra Classic had "lost" its 'hold' (not quite sold) sign. We had sat on this bike a number of times to see if we liked the general feel of a touring bike - we did. But for some reason we had it in our heads that we wanted a new one. DUH!!! When we found out the $$ the dealer was asking for the EG we couldn't resist.

One afternoon ride and Brad was hooked. He loves the new "Cadillac." (and man'o'man it it SO comfortable!) So, if anyone wants an '09 Nightster with about 700 miles on it...lemme know! Cuz, I'm pretty sure DH isn't getting off this thing anytime soon.
