Our new addition

Our new addition -

Meet Deamon (Demon, yes from the movie Snow Dogs) He has been with us about a month and is settling in nicely. He is a very sweet but determined young Husky of 8 months. Brad and I are very relieved that he is incredibly mellow and only causes a fuss near feeding time. He is however pretty darn vocal about almost everything. I have to admit I had gotten used to Windy's silence (she doesn't howl or bark) but I am happy to have a singer in the house again. I hope Deamon will prove to be as talented as my late husky Lakus - he could sing Jingle Bells.
So far, Deamon has shown his talents in other arena's - litarally - he came to us as a show dog in training. But due to an undecended teste, he is no longer breeding quality. We have him in obedience courses and after a struggle to learn sit (it conflicted with his show training) we have mastered - sit, down, off, easy, come and heel in a few short weeks. Windy is currently in training for her Canine Good Citizen and prepping for her therapy dog certification. As well as Agility and Rally training. Deamon, I'm sure is not far behind her.
Deamon came to us from a very nice kennel in Nebraska. You can see his puppy pictures there - www.lobolairsiberians.com His name is Buddy on their website.
