New Bike!

About a year ago Brad and I decided that his beloved Fat Boy needed to be sacrificed for the sake of other $ needs (namely getting our BBQ Catering Company started.) So, We traded in the Lovely Blue Fatboy and replaced it with a financially lean Nightster.

At the time Brad was excited to have a fun little sporty...for about five minutes. Then he realized the seat and shocks were as lean as the payment! After one bumping jouncing ride up the Mirror Lake Highway (HWY 51)  to Evanston, WY  and home (200 miles) he was most definitely ready for a softer ride -

Enter the Ultra Glide Ultra Classic -

This is Brad's Big Soft Sweet Anniversary Ride (aka our travel guide) once we got this (at a GREAT deal) the Nightster sat in the garage, except for the shortest of rides. And it sat until I put it on KSL to try to Sell it. Ya ok, soooo,  buying the nightster and sacrificing the Fatboy didn't turn out quite how we expected (though now we had three bikes for what used to be the price of 2).

Well, as of today the Nightster had been for sale for more than 6 months. The one bonus we had to buying the Nightster was that we were guaranteed to get our MSRP back from the Dealer if we traded it in with in a year.

On a ride last weekend we realized we were nearing that year mark, and it was time to act. Since the listing on KSL generated no interest, and some changes in our financial status (ie the BBQ Company is doing AWESOME!) we had the ability to trade in the Nightster to
get our MSRP and not be upside down on a new bike. The upside...Brad could pretty much pick any bike he wanted:

Hellllooooooo Fatbob! Vance and Hines exhaust and air filter, and a bunch of other goodies Woohoo!!!
