Finally!

So, I've said it before this is a SLOW year for me and Scoot. We haven't been out much and Scoot isn't even registered at the moment. but FINALLY, my light duty from surgery is over, and I can get back on the bikes! My first post-surg ride was a Sunday Fun Ride with the NUHOG Group. I rode on the back of Brad's Ultra-Glide. What is usually a 3-4 hour ride to Bear Lake and back, was instead a leisurely 7 hours. We (and the group) took lots of breaks and - as tired as I was from a long long Sat at the farmers market the day before - I needed the slow ride. Thanks to some threatening rain clouds we took even more stops than usual and my already sore muscles were not able to cramp up from sitting too long. Though, I have noticed the road vibrations are very good for clearing heads and relaxing stiff sore muscles. At the end of the ride I was more than ready to be off the bike and home, but today I'm glad I went or I would not have relaxed from the tough week before.

I am getting my bike inspected and registered tomorrow and then, I can take some rides of my own and get back to telling you all to - get out and ride!
